Hi All, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday. Tonight I watched as my son experienced real fireworks for the 1st time. His face was so precious as he was trying to figure it all out and not be afraid at the same time. It is a picture that will be etched in my mind forever.Today, I have really been thinking about how important this holiday is to all of us in this country and to my son. His life can now be anything that he wants it to be. We are so lucky to live in a place where if we work hard enough all of our dreams can come true.

I know that I have been slacking on keeping this blog updated, but it has been a crazy spring and summer so far, and that is a whole different post. I will update you on all of that at another time. But for now, I am going to go and watch my son sleep. we are so blessed...
